SubReal

SubReal is a 3D puzzle game where you have control over various mechanisms to get past obstacles in the environment. In this world with strange physical principles, you'll encounter various elements to keep progressing.

Make your way through carefully crafted levels where you'll use teleporters, pressure plates, colored cubes, and more... Every element is paired with others in a way to create difficult and interesting puzzles.

Strategically manipulate colored cubes to activate corresponding pressure plates. Direct laser beams using mirrors into detectors to open doors.

With physics-based controls, SubReal challenges you to redefine classic puzzles. Each level offers new combinations of elements that give depth to the game and challenge you to find the limits of this strange yet intriguing world.

This is a one-month school project made by a small team, including GuiguiV3, Pr2k and myself, as part of the Game Programming course in our second year of Computer Science at Ynov Campus in Nantes. We are French students not specialized in game programming or indie development but we’ve poured a lot of heart into this!
